* REVIEW * - Not In My Wildest Dreams (Dreams Series) by Isabelle Peterson

Reviewer : Kaylene
Rating : 5 Stars

Second in the series, just as good as the first ...

Not in My Wildest Dreams is the second instalment in the dreams series by Isabelle Peterson.  This book follows Jack's story from when he was discovered until a few weeks after he loses the love of his life Elizabeth.

This story follows Jack and his dreams of being a male model when he was scouted by a modelling agency.  Jack decided to throw in everything he worked for to follow a dream, but its not always as easy as it looks.  He soon finds out that life as a male model is not a road to be taken lightly as its hard work and his family deserts him for his life choices.  Jack takes a chance and works hard at his craft.  This book is written mostly in Jack's POV but does skip a little between characters similar to the first book.

Through Jack's POV you see when he meets Elizabeth for the first time and his thoughts.   For Jack its love at first sight and he wants to make sure that he doesn't lose the only woman that has taken his heart and soul.  Jack fights for his heart with Elizabeth after she chooses Greg her husband of 22 years.

This book was a fantastic conclusion to the story of Jack and Elizabeth and I read the book in one day.   I loved the story and the characters.  It was made even better by the fact that you got to read both sides of the story.  This series is a must read and I gave it five stars.

1979... When eighteen-year old Jack Stevens is spotted in his rural Colorado town by a scout from a New York City modelling agency, his life is flipped upside down. With little more than his looks, he heads to New York with a dream he didn't know he had. Jack has a rough start, but finds his feet and embarks on an exciting life as a male model in the 1980's living in Manhattan.

2013... Thirty-four years later, a confirmed bachelor, and very successful, Jack is satisfied with his life, until he meets a breath of fresh air—Elizabeth Fairchild. Never in his wildest dreams did he think he’d find a love like he does with 'Beth.' It’s an instant connection.

Following wild dreams had worked for him in the past… Is this another wild dream he should follow?

WARNING: EROTIC ROMANCE... This book contains subject material of an adult nature intended for readers of 18 years old and older. In these pages you will find graphic language and sexual encounters that some readers might disagree with: regular sex, oral, BDSM, gay, and orgy. You've been warned. Happy reading!

I slowly walk in the direction of the noise. I have no idea why, snooping didn't exactly do me any favors the last time. There are a few more doors down here, one door is slightly open and I can tell it's a pool room. There are three pool tables spread around and I find the reason behind the noise. I've only ever been with one man at a time, in fact I've only ever been with douche-bag, but this girl has three. My brain races with the possibilities of what three men could do to my body.  After reading so many erotica books I’ve certainly fantasized about the things I’ve read, but it’s nothing compared to actually seeing it happen right in front of you.  Where I’m standing is dark, so even if they look up… they won’t be able to see me.  At least I hope not! The woman is naked, legs spread wide and laying on her back on the table.  One man has his head buried between her thighs, another thrusting his cock deep in her mouth at the edge of the table, and the third is licking her nipples from the other side. The sight is highly erotic and I'm immediately turned on. My eyes widen when they stop, flipping the girl over, dragging her down the table so one of the men can sit at its edge with her straddling his lap. The others take their positions, one behind her, the other standing above them all, giving the girl perfect access to his hard cock. Her moan fills the room as the three enter her, bumping and thrusting. I fight my own hands, biting on my lip. I am so turned on right now, I don't know what to do with myself. I think about running back to my room and taking care of myself, but I can't turn my eyes away from the scene acting out in front of me. I catch movement to my side, shocked to see Angel glaring at me. "Like what you see?" I stare wide eyed, I don't know what to say. I'm embarrassed he's caught me watching. He curses, looking back to the foursome.  The girl’s moaning becomes louder and I step back. I'm still turned on, my underwear is soaked, even though I'm ashamed at being caught watching. Angel looks at me, snickering before storming into the room. What the fuck is he doing?

* REVIEW * - Ditching The Dream (Dream Series) by Isabelle Peterson

Reviewer : Kaylene
Rating : 5 Stars

What a pleasant surprise, well written Isabelle Peterson .. I loved it.

I saw this book advertised by the author on facebook and decided I would give it a go, I had seen it advertised before and for some reason skipped over it ... well what a mistake that was.

Ditching the Dream starts out with Elizabeth (42 years old) walking out on her marriage to Greg after twenty two years.  This book follows her liberation from her marriage and then falling almost straight away into the arms of two men (Kevin and Jack).  I loved this book due to how real and relatable it was.  I think every older woman will be able to relate to the way this story is written and connect with Elizabeth's character.

I think Isabelle nailed the characters so well, and the men were so very different, a loving but neglecting husband, a younger adorable man who loves that Elizabeth takes charge and the older dominant man who loves Elizabeth and truly wants her. This story is fresh, original and there is some very hot and sexy moments.

I cannot write about what happens in the story because, well that would just ruin it but it was a good solid read with a bit of a cliffhanger ending which makes you want to read the second book.

Feeling dead in her marriage, Elizabeth Fairchild ditches the dream of her seemingly perfect life with her husband in search of who she really is.

She went from her parents' house to her husband's home and never really learned to stand on her own two feet. She decides to leave her comfortable life in Napa Valley in search of her inner fire in New York City. She certainly didn't leave her husband to find another man, but she soon finds herself involved with two: Jack Stevens and Kevin Parker.

Jack is older. He has heart-stopping good looks, is wildly successful, and is very much in control of everything around him - especially Elizabeth.
Kevin is younger. He is carefree with a heart of gold and loves Elizabeth's spunk.

While Elizabeth's old life still calls to her, she also finds what she needs in New York. But which dream will she choose?

*BLOG TOUR* "Carnage" by Lesley Jones

I love him, from the instant I set eyes on him when I was just 11 years old I have loved him and nothing will ever change that, he owns me, he owns my heart and he owns my body and no matter how many lies are told, no matter how many people conspire to keep us apart, despite the fame and the distance, we will find a way.

"Georgia Rae, when we made love you used to cry" ... He waits for me to sing my bit. I try to swallow down a sob but I just end up singing through it...
"I said I love you like the stars above, I'll love you till I die"

Carnage is an edgy coming of age love story that breaks all the rules and transcends the decades. Georgia and Sean's story will stay with you long after you read the final word.
An emotional, smoking hot, gut wrenching read.
This is part #1 of a 2 part story but can be read as a stand alone.

I am a born and raised Essex girl now living on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, just outside of Melbourne Australia, I moved here with my husband and three sons in 2006.
Carnage is my third book and was written originally and can be read as a stand alone but I have been convinced by bloggers and readers to write a follow up, so it will be with you later this year.
My first book was Saviour, then it's follow up Resolution, which completes the series.

Not only do I love to write but I also love to read and can devour a book overnight if the story grabs me.
I love watching my sons play football and am very partial to a glass of wine, a nicely chilled Marlborough Sav Blanc being my favourite

* REVIEW * - Complete (Incomplete) by Lindy Zart

Reviewer : Angie
Rating : 5 Stars

Lindy Zart does such an amazing job, writing with surprising detail, that I felt like I knew these characters and might run into them on the street. The first book, Incomplete, was written from Grayson's POV, but this book, which takes place two years later, is written from Lily's POV. I sometimes wanted to lock both characters in a room until they came to their senses. They both try to do "what is right" for the other person, regardless of what the other person says. This story really takes the old saying, "If you love someone, set them free. If it's meant to be, they'll come back to you." But, is there a timeline for that? Can you ever really get back the relationship you had, getting over the hurt and bad feelings? Can you get over the other people in their lives?

I got really frustrated with Lily's insecurities, but it actually came from a place deep down inside of me. I was Lily as a teenager, with low self-esteem. I found myself, on more than one occasion, remembering what it was like to be a teenager/twenty-something, unsure about most of life. Job well done, Lindy Zart, in transporting me back to that time in my life.

I was given a copy of this book in return for an honest review. I feel so privileged to have had the opportunity to read such an amazing book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

If the truth sets one free, why does Lily Jacobs feel so trapped?

She's learned doing the right thing isn't always best and now she is living the consequences of her greatest sacrifice. Every day since Grayson Lee left is one she wishes he hadn't. Years have gone by since their friendship turned to more and then was eradicated by Lily alone; enough time for their young love to fade. Only it hasn't, not for Lily.

Now he is back and seeing him is devastating to her at the same time it is rapture. She tries to accept that they cannot be together, but everything inside her shouts that they should be; that they only fit with each other. And so she has to accept the greatest truth of all: She loves him still. She loves him enough not to let him go this time.

* REVIEW * - Incomplete by Lindy Zart

Reviewer : Angie
Rating : 5 Stars

If a book makes me laugh or cry, it automatically gets 5 stars. Well, this one definitely succeeded in both areas. As someone who grew up in a home with an alcoholic parent, this book really hit home. At one point, I couldn't read the words through my tears. That is not to say that the whole book is a downer. The light-hearted friendship and banter between Grayson and Lily had me laughing through a lot of the book. It is a coming of age story, a story about love and friendship, and a story about overcoming the life you were given.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys YA, coming of age stories. I look forward to reading Complete, the continuation of Grayson's story.

There are three absolute truths in Grayson Lee’s life:

1. His existence was a mistake.

2. No one is good enough for his best friend, Lily Jacobs, especially not him.

3. He loves her anyway.

* REVIEW * - Reaching Rachel (Living Again #2) by L.L. Collins

Have you ever gone to a movie that EVERYONE is telling you is the best, but when you get
there, you can't help but be let down? That's how I thought this might be, but boy, was I wrong. I
had heard so many great things about this book that I was a little worried it couldn't live up to the
hype. It DID! It's a love story, but it is also a story about abuse and survival that draws you in
from the first word.

L.L. did a wonderful job of letting me feel what it might be like to enter into an abusive
relationship, even as a strong woman, and how hard it could be to get out. I never quite
understood it, but now I feel as if I have a much better understanding. Rachel and Devin's love
story is one you will laugh, cry, and swoon over. Does it get any sexier than a good guy SWAT
member?

I highly recommend this book. I haven't read Living Again, but it is now at the top of my TBR.
Thank you, L.L., for taking the time to write such amazing characters into a love story I won't
soon forget.

**Disclaimer:** This book contains difficult topics that may be hard for some readers and is suggested for a mature audience only. It contains strong language, sexual situations, abuse, and other content that may be problematic for some to read. Please keep this in mind when choosing to read this book.

Rachel has always been seen as a wild child, never committing or settling down. She wants it that way, so that no one ever finds out the truth. Deep down, she is crushed over something that happened years ago that resulted in losing the only man she ever loved. Then she meets someone who tries to convince her that she’s ready to commit again. But some things are not what they seem. Realizing too late that she’s in over her head, and with her life on the line, she comes face to face with her past in a way she never thought possible.

Devin was in love once, and it destroyed him, making him swear off love forever. After a promotion and subsequent move unexpectedly brings him into the middle of her dangerous situation, he must come face to face with his past and to the woman who broke him into pieces. But she needs help. Desperately. And maybe, just maybe, he didn't know the real truth of their past. Can he help her survive the terrible ordeal she's been through, and during it all, can he safeguard his heart from her? Or will the truth of the pain that has kept them apart show him that he can't live without her after all?

* REVIEW * - Angels Dawn by Komali Da Silva

Reviewer : Cheryl
Rating : 5 Stars

First and foremost Angels Dawn is NOT what I was expecting.  It is such a great YA paranormal story.

Dawn has just turned 16 and intervenes in a situation that she shouldn't have and starts a chain of events that become a nightmare.  She sustains an injury to the head and has nightmares of her attackers and feels like she is being stalked by them.

She meets Angelo who in some way brings her calmness and security and makes her feel safe.  She finds out that Angelo is the person that saved her from her attackers and for some reason he can communicate to her through her mind and just knows when she is under duress.  They feel an emotional bond for one another and feels like it is deeper than they both ever imagined.  They fall in love and start opening up to each other.  Right when they feel like their love will endure and is complete he is yanked away from her by outside forces and she has the option of fight or let it be.

She gains enemies that she has never met before and the malice behind the hatred is surprising.  Dawn is left feeling broken, battered, and bruised until her best friend Asima intervenes and straightens her out.  She undergoes a self evaluation and pieces her self back together to not cause her family any more worry than they have already until tragedy strikes yet again.

You are taken on an emotional journey through a teenage girls angst and first love woes. You cannot help but feel for her and the emotional tests and betrayals she's been put through. The characters have a natural flow to them and have a bond of with one another.  Their chemistry is impossible to miss and even harder to forget.  Prepare yourself for a Cliffhanger that will leave you teary eyed and wishing for a little bit more of everything.

AWESOME debut novel.

Dawn Huntington wants what every girl wants, a sweet sixteen birthday party with her friends, family, and some hot boys, but fate has other plans. On the night of Dawn's sixteenth birthday, she witnesses a crime she can't turn her back on, and the decisions she makes that night will change her life forever.

Never having been confronted with such violence, Dawn turns to a mysterious and beautiful boy named Angelo, only she can't remember what happens that night. To make things more complicated, Dawn is in a relationship with Angelo's complete opposite, Nate. Dawn doesn't want to hurt Nate, yet she can't shake her feelings for Angelo, even when she can't help but feel he's hiding something from her, and it could be something dark. Why is Angelo acting so weird around Bonita? Are they together? Are they really only friends?

Angelo may be trouble, but Dawn can't ignore her feelings for him. Dawn is at a crossroads. Should she choose love? Or friendship? Once Dawn finally finds the courage to choose, she thinks the drama is over. But Dawn wasn't expecting her choices to have such dire consequences.

Do you believe in love at first sight? But can one trust someone blindly? Can love overcome all the obstacles?

Is friendship just the beginning of love?

I recently discovered those school vocational assessments are really interesting and probably correct! Who would have thought, hey? You see, I clearly remember taking one of those in Year 11 (for my US friends, I think that equates to junior year in high school). Anyway, semantics. Well, the results came back indicating that I should pursue a career in writing and something else. What that something else was I can’t remember but the writing thing stuck in my mind.

Sure, I’d always liked English and had already developed a ravenous appetite for romance novels by the age of sixteen—but who becomes a writer straight out of school? So to cut a long story short, I went to Uni and studied Business and ended up managing large-scale IT projects shortly after.
I can’t complain: it’s been a great career. I’ve done some awesome projects and met some incredible people and I won’t be giving it up anytime soon. Anyway, I’ve messed around with a couple of “secret” novels over the years and I finally decided to get serious and finish one. Hence “Finding Trust” came about. And about twenty years later, I’ve finally proved a vocational assessment correct, because I love writing!

As to some other stuff about me: I live on the Gold Coast, Australia. I love spending time with my family and friends. When I’m not sitting behind a screen playing with IT or writing, you might find me down the beach playing in the waves on a Jet Ski or a bogey board (both are uber cool). When the weather turns a bit cooler (doesn’t really happen on the Gold Coast), we like to head for the snow. I’ve discovered I have two kids who are kamikaze skiers—they must take after their father. He’s always at me to “release the handbrake.” Apparently I’d ski so much better. I call it a healthy understanding of self-preservation and gravity!
I like to think I can fit in a few workouts and martial arts classes each week. This tends to be a figment of my imagination more than reality, unfortunately. I am trying to remedy this, but those damn characters just keep demanding to have their stories told and, well, there’s always another good book to read!

I hope you enjoy mine.

Please drop me a line. You can find me at my website, www.nataliegayle.com.   I’m active on Facebook, Twitter, and via email Natalie@nataliegayle.com.au. I’d love to know what you think of my books and well, let’s be truthful—I love talking about books, whether they’re mine or someone else’s. Fiction is just so much more fun than reality!!!

Happy Reading
