*REVIEW* Finding My Way Home by Vicki Green

Reviewer: Donna
Rating: 4 Stars

Zoey has escaped from her abusive husband, changed her name to Bren, dyed her hair colour and jumped on train to anywhere to get as far away as possible. She is broken and hurt by the events that her husband put her through but she steps off the Train at an unknown town in Wyoming. Everyone in the town is very friendly and she ends up with somewhere to live and a job but she never expected to feel love again.

Hutchinson has escaped to this small town because his wife, Jodi who he loved so much died of cancer. He was a footballer and a model but after his wife died, everything didn't matter any more. Life started to matter again when he ends up in this small town and eight months later, Zoey turns up and it's love at first sight.

They have both got demons to face and they end up facing them together. It was a romantic story and both characters were so lovely and easy to like. I did find that some of the scenes where they express their feelings, felt a abit to corny or maybe something that a guy would really say but the storyline was brilliant and i really enjoyed reading it. I love a story like this that has drama, love and some moments that were sad but it was fantastic and i was glad that i had the opportunity to read it.

When you have a good heart,
You help too much,
You trust too much,
You give too much,
You love too much,
And it always seems,
You hurt the most

How do you become strong enough to leave an abusive husband? How do you get away safely? How do you get your self-esteem back? Brennan Michaels, or so her new I.D. states, escapes by train to an unknown small town in Wyoming. She finds the town is not even on any maps but something draws her there. The township befriends her, she finds a job and a place to live, in a Boarding House, not realizing the other tenant is a Hot, Sexy ex-football player and model that is dealing with his own past issues.

Hutchinson Parker or Hutch to those close to him, had a loving wife, who he cherished and was his entire world until she was taken from him by Cancer. His life ceased to exist, his football and modeling didn't matter anymore. Nothing mattered until he found a small town in Wyoming and after nine months of grieving he meets a girl named Brennan who takes his breath away. He can tell she is dealing with something bad, something happened to her. Most people who find the small town are running from something. Her skittish behavior and the fading marks on her face means one thing. Someone abused her.

Will she find her way home?
