This story is a light and fluffy but entertaining read and broaches the subject of big beautiful women (BBW) and their insecurities. 

 

The story follows Becky’s life and her desire to start up a BBW internet dating service.  She meets Reed, a photographer who seems to be attracted to Becky even though he is engaged to be married to a gorgeous model type.

 

There was the usual put the “fat” chick down by the waif model type coupled with a insecurities of the larger woman. There was also some issue I found in the fact they were seeing each other before Reed actually gave his fiancé her marching orders.

 

I liked the side characters in this book and they were developed well.  I also laughed out loud on numerous occasions and I mean really laughed hard. 

 

I am not convinced the ending was well crafted as I was shocked when it said THE END .. I wondered where the rest of the story was as it left me wanting more, not really knowing how Becky and Reed’s story ended because it left me wanting more as I felt the story was unfinished.

 

This book was enjoyable but the abrupt ending caught me off guard and I would have liked the story to really achieve a HEA for Becky and Reed.

With a laugh-out-loud best friend, an insane cat, and a business to run, Becky Holgate didn’t have time for guys like Reed Amwell...until time was running out.
